I am a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in young adult care. My approach to medication management is collaborative, aiming not just to alleviate symptoms but to support long-term positive changes in thought patterns and behaviors. I believe that, by promoting healthier brain circuits, we can foster lasting recovery and well-being, even after years of stress.
With experience in emergency rooms, inpatient settings, and multicultural care, I currently serve as the Medical Director at Epiphany Center, a treatment facility for mothers struggling with addiction and trauma, while also providing outpatient services for underserved adults in San Francisco. My past roles include collaboration on staffing and quality review for healthcare solutions. I am particularly interested in supporting families of those with severe mental illness, treating peripartum and postpartum anxiety, and guiding patients through life transitions.
In addition to traditional medication, I offer low-dose ketamine treatments, including Spravato, for treatment-resistant depression to help patients unlock new perspectives and make deeper therapeutic progress. My office is located in San Francisco’s Marina District, where I work with a trauma-informed nurse practitioner who assists with ketamine treatment. Though I don’t regularly provide psychotherapy, I collaborate with therapists to help patients reach their goals.
Please feel free to contact my office to learn more or to begin treatment.
